City Dog Training Club is a Member of American Kennel Club Associate
- For persons 18 years or older who are in good standing with The American
Kennel Club and meet the following requirements; The application form requires the sponsorship/signatures of two Club Members in good standing, normally one of which is an instructor under whom the applicant has trained. The completed application form shall be submitted to the Membership Committee after applicant has met all three requirements. Annual dues of $30.00 shall accompany application. (New members voted upon between 1 July and 31 December shall pay a pro-rated one-half of the annual dues.) The application will be read at the next scheduled membership meeting after all membership requirements have been verified. The application will be voted upon (in the applicant’s absence) at the following meeting. A two-thirds affirmative vote of those present and voting shall be required to elect said applicant to membership. Associate members may apply for Regular Membership (includes the right to vote and hold office) in QCDTC after one year.
(1) Must have actively participated in the training classes of the Club for a period of six months (normally three classes). At the discretion of the Board of Directors, Junior Membership status may be granted when the applicant has participated in the training classes of the Club for a period of at least three months and has received at least one ‘leg’ towards an AKC obedience title. Junior Members must apply for regular membership upon reaching their eighteenth (18) birthday. No further qualifications are needed other then any additional dues payment. The membership requirements for Associates and Juniors must be completed within the 12-month period prior to application for membership. MEMBERSHIP
