Emphasis is placed on socialization, constructive play, and the rudiments of obedience - sit and down on command, walking on a leash, and coming when called. Positive training methods are used, incorporating food lures, toys, encouragement, and praise. Information on general care, house training, and puppy problems also is provided. Puppy kindergarten is open to puppies aged 8 weeks to 5 months. Puppies must have had one set of shots before coming to class.');
